Win Some is by Navarone out of Principia by Idocus. Her sire Navarone, is by the famous sh
ow jumper Jus De Pomme. Jus De Pomme won 2 gold medals in the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta for the German show jumping team. Navarone was a successful 1.40m jumper before being imported. After being imported he switched to dressage, and has worked his way through the levels to compete grand prix in 2009! This is a testament to his amazing versatlity.
Win Some’s dam Principia combines two of the greatest dressage horses, Idocus and Roemer. She is by Olympic competitor Idocus. Idocus needs no
introduction, as he has been a top sire for many years with numerous successful offspring in dressage as well as jumping. Her dam is the STER mare Fife and Drums by the legend Roemer. Roemer was the first breeding stallion to be inducted into the USDF Hall of Fame, and also holds the PREFERENT predicate.Principia was a first premium foal and was a top ten foal for the KWPN-NA in 1997.
As her pedigree indicates, Win Some is a lovely mover as well as a excellent jumper. She is a very refined modern mare who looks a lot like her sire. Her very versatile pedigree gives us a lot of options for stallion choices in the future.
Win Some took a year off to have her first foal in 2009. We are very pleased with her first filly, Emmelie. She is looking to be an excellent mover, with refined type just like her mom. Win Some will go back into training as soon as her filly is weaned. We are looking forward to Win Some's under saddle progress and hope to take her to some shows in the near future!
